1 Day Beginner’s Linoprint workshop

LEARN lino block printing techniques that you can take home and make in your kitchen

This printmaking workshop will explore the necessary skills in handprinting linoblock printmaking methods to produce an edition.  This workshop is suitable for beginning printmakers and those without any experience at all.

The tutor has a Masters in Printmaking from Monash Uni and she  will guide you every step of the way.  You will learn to create monocolour linoprints, printing by hand with a Japanese print baren.  This is something you will be able to do at home.

ONE Day Workshop:   Tea and coffee available. Morning tea provided.  Please bring your own lunch.  It would be helpful for you to have a design prepared.  Choose a simple design without too many fine lines for your first attempt.  The lino provided is 15cm x 20cm so you will need to work within that size.

Complete kits available for purchase at the workshop so that you can pursue linoprinting at home.
